OUR RESPONSE TO THE COVID-19 OUTBREAKS
Sun Valley Honda is still open to serve our valuable customers during these unprecedented times. We however have slightly modified how we operate in order to be compliant with the public health orders to ensure the safety and health of our customers as well as the staff. If you have traveled outside of the country within the last 14 days and/or are experiencing any of the following symptoms listed below, we kindly ask that you do not visit us until these symptoms are no longer present. Staff members are also being asked to stay home if experiencing any of the following symptoms listed below. Anyone entering our facility will be required to wear a mask or face covering as per the local health guidelines.
- Fever
- Cough
- Runny Nose
- Sore Throat
- Shortness of Breath
- Muscle Aches
- Nausea
Sales:
In the sales department, we have introduced some practices to help reduce the spread of Covid-19. We are doing the following to keep you safe.
- All customers who have traveled from outside the country AND/OR exhibiting any cold or flu-related symptoms are asked not to visit our dealership at this time
- Any staff members who have exhibited cold or flu-related symptoms are not permitted in the dealership at this time
- We are encouraging no handshaking until the COVID-19 situation has passed
- Physical distancing of 6 or more feet from everyone.
- Use of face masks
- Hand sanitizing stations at all entrances and exits of the dealership
- All hard surfaces in common areas cleaned & sanitized 2x daily
- Seating and convenience-use waiting area wiped down and sanitized 2x daily
- Sanitizing vehicle door handles, steering wheels, shifter mechanisms prior to AND after all vehicle demonstrations
- Debit machines sanitized after each use
- Lysol wipes available for use
Service:
In the Service Department, we have introduced some practices to help reduce the spread of Covid-19. We are doing the following to keep you safe.

- Technicians sanitizing vehicle door handles, steering wheels, shifter mechanisms with each service
- Technicians wearing new latex gloves with each vehicle serviced
- Proper handwashing instructions posted in all washrooms
- Pickup and drop-off of customer vehicles are available upon request and availability of staff
- Contactless pickup and drop-off are available upon request.
